Grade 304H is a high carbon containing version of the conventionally used austenitic alloy grade 304 Stainless steel. For instance, the forging or shaping operations that are performed on the ASTM A403 WP304H Pipe Fittings could include processes like upsetting, rolling, bending, hammering, pressing, piercing, extruding, fusion welding and machining. If required these fittings could be forged either by a single process or they could be forged by a combination of two or more of these processes.
